Current activities

 

Implementation phase

·  Participating groups are given more money for land rental, outsourcing, marketing and other implementation costs. This period is the actual revenue phase, where the quality of the business idea is truly tested in virtual economy. Time to meet the customer!

·  The group leader is required to upgrade his / her account to premium account and to handle possible incomes from this point forward. Premium account fee is refunded to group leader upon receiving certification / receipt for the payment – means for refunding this money (bank account number) should be given to the researchers. Note that the group loses Linden Lab stipends (see picture) below, if the account is not upgraded. Group can proceed to implementation phase only after the upgrade.

·  After the account of the group leader has been upgraded, he or she should send a report of his transaction history (L$ Balance), preferably in xls format on given dates to teemu.surakka@tkk.fi. You can find an easy reporting tool on your My Account area after the account has been upgraded.   

·  A short feedback has been given to the groups, based on the Business Idea Feedback form. When the group has taken this feedback into account and tested their idea, the rest of the capital (9200 L$) is given to the groups upon receiving “the Business Plan Executive Summary” form (see left column).

·  All the enlisted group members with avatars should have active scripts. If you delete the script by accident, you can find it in the communication center.
